new job

I don’t understand why I work in a setting where I have to deal with people constantly. For some reason, I’m pretty decent at dealing with people, even though I really can’t stand it. I do not enjoy having to talk to most of the people I’m required to talk to, save the people I work with because I love them all. But customers? Unless you’re a regular customer that I actually care about, I’m probably just faking a smile and grinding my teeth.

It’s a good thing I’m good at faking interest and sincereity.

Otherwise I would’ve lost this job a long time ago.
